The headstone of his grave was found loose on his land at Fair Grove, MO , by Joseph Babbitt. Letter follows:
"I am in the process of purchasing a house and a few acres of land in Fair Grove, MO. As I was walking the property I found a lose tombstone for William Trewatha Born May 12, 1912 and died on January 4, 1980. The headstone was lose on the ground. I am trying to figure out if someone is actualy buried on the property or if the headstone just ended up there. In which case should it be returned to the grave sight. Hence the reason for this e-mail. Do you by any chance know anything about William Trewatha? Like where he might be buried? And do you know anyone we should return the headstone to? If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance."
